It has been decided to impose restrictions when the conditions for changing the driving license with a validity of 3 years are not followed. Earlier license was given for 10 years. It was later changed to 3 years. That has now been changed to a year. From last day, the law was made only for one year. The new law came into force from yesterday.

A foreigner driver found committing traffic violations will be punished. 15 The driver’s license will be revoked for 3 months if found in violation of the Black Point Act. Second time getting 12 points will result in withdrawal of driver’s license for 6 months and third time exceeding 10 points will result in withdrawal of driver’s license for 9 months. A fourth violation of 8 points will result in the license being suspended for one year.
And if the violation is repeated for the fifth time, the driver’s license will be revoked. It has been decided to tighten the regulation in the context of increasing violations of traffic laws in the country.
Open gym to make Venkavila fit
Nedumangad Block Panchayat is introducing new habits for health care in rural areas which is limited to morning walk only. Venkawila Division under Block Panchayat is making the concept of fitness center which is widespread in urban areas accessible to common people in rural areas. Many schemes are being implemented at the government and panchayat levels for health care in these times of increasing lifestyle diseases. As a part of this, with the aim of molding a healthy society, an open gym is about to be opened in Venkawila, which will make health care available to everyone in the area.
The construction work of the open gym started three months ago after it was included in the 2022-2023 public planning plan. The open gym, built at a cost of Rs 14 lakh, is now ready for public use. People from 15 to 60 years of age are admitted here. Anyone, male or female, can use the gym. The block panchayat does not charge any fee other than a small fee for registration.
The open gym has facilities for morning walks along with exercise equipment. Before the opening of the open gym, the block panchayat is also conducting awareness about its use for the local residents. The gym will be open to the public by the second week of May. The great support of Nedumangad block panchayat administration and Anad gram panchayat was received for the realization of open gym in Venkawila division.
