Restrictions at Hamad International Airport from June 13, everything you need to know

Qatar imposes restrictions on Hamad International Airport Passengers will not be allowed to pick up and drop off in front of the arrival and departure terminals, officials said. The regulation comes into effect on June 13. Everyone arriving at the airport must use the car parking space to pick up and drop off passengers.

The decision was taken to avoid congestion in front of the terminals. In the first phase, it will be implemented on a trial basis for the safety of passengers. From the 13th, pick-up and drop-off facilities will be limited to car parking areas only. Public vehicles will not be allowed to park in front of the Arrival and Departure Terminals from 10:00 a.m. on July 13.

Only vehicles prescribed by the authorities are allowed to park here. Only official vehicles are allowed. The facility in the car parking area should only be used to pick up and drop off passengers. The first 20 minutes of parking will be free for vehicles arriving and disembarking at the short-term car parking area.
But you will only be charged if you stay above that. There is no provision for payment at the car parking exit. The parking fee must be paid at the machine in front of the Level 2 car parking.
