India’s Silicon Valley Bengaluru city (Bengaluru Floods) is shaking due to the rains that have been falling for a week. Bengaluru Rains shook the city after a few hours of rain after midnight on Sunday. As the roads meet the rivers.. the low-lying areas have been flooded. Bikes were washed away in many places, cars and two-wheelers in the cellars were flooded. In a few minutes, the city went haywire and Silicon Valley turned into a quagmire. Those trapped in flooded areas are being moved to safer areas by tractors. Unacademy CEO’s family survived with the help of tractors.
Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued warnings that heavy rains will fall in many states including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana till September 9. Alarmed by this, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai held an emergency review with the ministers on Monday night on the rains. Minister R. Ashoka, who attended this review, adjourned the meeting. If the CM is discussing with the officials, the minister chooses to sleep as if he doesn’t care.
The minister fell asleep and gave a weapon to the opposition Congress. Karnataka Congress official Twitter account shared the photo of the minister sleeping during the review with the CM. There are many types of flour. People of the state are drowning in rains. The minister is drowning in sleep” was the sarcastic caption. Meanwhile, CM Bommai said that the government has decided to release Rs.300 crores to improve the flood situation in Bengaluru.
