According to the teenager’s mother, the singer committed this crime from the time the little girl was 5 years old until she was 14. Likewise, the minor’s lawyers shared a statement, which was commented on by the “First Hand” program.
“(…) He decided to sentence Ricardo N (as he called himself) to 19 years in prison for having found him guilty of the crime of aggravated sexual abuse, committed continuously to the detriment of his daughter the minor with a reserved identity of initials VCR, who suffered these behaviors from 5 to 14 years of age”, reads the resolution.

How did you find out about the crime committed by the actor?
In 2021, the former member of the Garibaldi group was arrested by the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office and sent to prison while awaiting the resolution of the judge handling the minor’s case. According to the first testimonies, the teenager’s mother was in charge of denouncing the Mexican before the Sexual Crimes Prosecutor’s Office after her daughter confessed what had happened.

Ricardo Crespo’s daughter speaks out after denouncing him for sexual abuse
The teenager broke her silence and revealed how she confessed the abuse committed by her father, Ricardo Crespo. “In October of last year (2020), I decided to talk to my mom, my grandmother and my brother, but I ask them not to do anything about it yet. A short time passed and I decided to file a complaint. I spent 12 hours in the prosecutor’s office talking about my subject; but, I think, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made in my life,” she recounted.
