G. Amaresh Ganesh (30), son of popular actress Jayachitra (Venkatesh’s mother in ‘Abbayigaru’) cheated a Chennai-based businessman under the name ‘Rice Pulling’ 26.2 crore from a businessman. Amaresh was arrested by the police on Tuesday after the businessman filed a case. The name of the deceived businessman is V. Nedumaran. He is 68 years old. Valasaravakkam resident near Chennai.

The Amaresh gang convinced Nedumaran that they had a temple urn, which was made of precious metal iridium, and that the urn would attract rice.
