Ricky Martin Is Denounced For Domestic Violence And Receives A Restraining Order

The Puerto Rico Police confirmed on Saturday, July 2, that they began the diligence of a restraining order against Ricky Martin for a complaint supported by Law 54, created for the prevention and intervention in cases of domestic violence.

As it is a case that involves this legal norm, the Puerto Rico Police cannot reveal the name of the petitioning party.

The order was issued by Judge Raiza Cajigas Campbell, of the Court of First Instance of San Juan, after an ex parte request, according to the police statement.

The details of the complaint or information about the alleged case of violence have not been disclosed.

Police do not find the whereabouts of Ricky Martin

As Ricky Martin, whose real name is Enrique Martín Morales, is known, he has been married since 2017 to the artist of Syrian origin Jwan Yosef and they have four children.

After the issuance of the document, a police contingent went to the exclusive El Dorado neighborhood, where the singer lives, to carry out the order.

As reported by the police spokesman to the Associated Press, Axel Valencia, when they arrived at the scene, they could not contact Ricky Martin. “At the moment, the Police have not been able to find him,” Valencia said.
