Ride for the Roses bike ride participant passed away

A participant of the Delta Ride for the Roses charity tour passed away this morning. When the man drove through the Westerscheldetunnel in Zeeland during the ride, he became unwell. An ambulance was quickly on the scene. The man had to be resuscitated and was then taken to hospital in Terneuzen. The cyclist died there.
