Senior actor, producer and rebel star Krishnam Raju passed away at 3.25 am on Sunday at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad. Telugu cinema (Tollywood) cannot digest the news that Krishna Raju is no more. All political and film celebrities are expressing their condolences through social media. In this sequence, Chiranjeevi shared a condolence message through Twitter and remembered his association with Krishna Raju.
“It is very sad to hear that Sri Krishna Rajugaru is no more. From the days of ‘Manavuri Pandavulu’, my association with my hometown hero, Krishnamrajugari, who encouraged me like an elder from my early days in the film industry, has become very intimate. He is the true definition of a ‘Rebel Star’. He also rendered many services as Union Minister. The loss without him is endless for me personally, for the film industry and for millions of fans. I pray for his soul to rest in peace and express my condolences to all his family members for Prabhas who is like my brother,” said Chiranjeevi.
The full name of Krishnamraju, who gained craze as a rebel star in the industry, is Uppalapati Venkata Krishnamraju. Born on January 20, 1940 in Mogalthur, West Godavari district. In 1966, he entered the Telugu cinema as a hero with the film Chilaka Gorinka. The family members said that the last rites will be held in Hyderabad on Monday. Prabhas, who is doing well as a Pan India hero, will be the elder father of Krishnamraj.
