Mumbai: BCCI has made arrangements to shift Rishab Ball to Mumbai. Rishabh Pant, who was treated at Max Hospital in Dehradun, was brought to Mumbai by air ambulance.
25-year-old Rishabh Pant was driving alone from Delhi to his hometown Roorkee when he met with an accident on the Delhi-Deradun National Highway on December 30. He was rescued with critical injuries and admitted to Max Hospital in Dehradun for further treatment. BCCI has decided to take Rishab Ball to Mumbai for further treatment.
In this regard, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah said in a statement, “BCCI has made all arrangements to bring Indian cricket team’s wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant to a Mumbai hospital. Rishabh Pant, who was involved in a car accident on December 30 and is undergoing treatment at Max Hospital in Dehradun, will be brought to Mumbai in an air ambulance.
Rishabh Pant will continue to be admitted to Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Institute of Medical Research, Kokilaben. There, he will be treated under the direct supervision of Dr Dinsha Pardiwala, Director of the Department of Arthroscopy and Shoulder Injuries. As a step of this, surgery will be done for Rishabh Pant’s muscle fiber injury.
The BCCI-gynecology committee will continue to monitor the post-operative and post-operative training methods. BCCI will extend all assistance to Rishabh Pant for his speedy recovery.”
