Chennai: The Akhilesh Das Gupta Memorial All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament was held in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. In the men’s category, Rithvik Sanjeevi from Tamil Nadu won the gold medal by defeating Sathish Kumar with the score of 21-18, 21-14. With this, Rithvik Sanjeevi became the first player from Tamil Nadu to win the men’s singles category in the national ranking tournament.
