The CEO of Riyadh Airlines, Tony Douglas, said that the company is in talks with “Airbus” and “Boeing” regarding a large order of narrow-body aircraft, indicating that the details of this order will be revealed in due course.
Douglas added in an interview with Al-Arabiya: “We placed an order on March 14, obviously, it didn’t take long to buy 72 Boeing 787 Dreamliners… These planes are wonderful and have a wide body,” explaining that this delivery will include wonderful products.
He revealed that this deal was Riyadh Airlines’ first major campaign, adding: “At the moment we are in the middle of our second campaign of narrow-body, single-aisle aircraft… This will be our next big story.”
He explained that “Riyadh Airlines” will launch its first flight two years from now, and we are waiting to receive the first order for the “787” Dreamliner aircraft, which is considered one of the two orders for the second order, which will be later this year.
And Douglas continued: “We want to share the show of the plane with the residents of the Kingdom first, we would like to show them what the national aviation will be like.. and next week we will reveal it to the world during the Paris Air Show.”
