In Primorsky Krai, three villages were cut off from the road as a result of the collapse of an automobile bridge across the Malaya Berezovka River. On Thursday, July 21, TASS was informed by the press service of the regional enterprise Primavtodor.
It is noted that the incident occurred between the villages of Krylovka and Bolshiye Klyuchi. As a result, the villages of Khvischanka, Bolshiye Klyuchi and Gorny were cut off from the road.
The government of Primorsky Krai confirmed that a crossing had collapsed on the Berezovka River.
“As a result, three settlements remained cut off from supplies. These are the villages of Khvishchanka, Bolshie Klyuchi and the village of Gorny. In total, it is somewhere around 245 residents, of which 10 are children. There is power supply with settlements, only transport communication is interrupted… No one was injured, there were no injured or dead. The only thing is that the life support of three settlements has been disrupted, ”said Alexander Gritsayuk, head of the life support department of the administration of the Kirovsky municipal district, in an interview with VL.ru.
According to the portal, the issue of delivering food products for three villages, providing medical care and organizing a detour is now being resolved.
The exact cause of the incident is being specified. Presumably, a timber truck drove over the old bridge.
Earlier, on July 7, it was reported that the bridge, along with the truck, fell into the water in the Sverdlovsk region.
The accident occurred early in the morning on July 7 in the Slobodo-Turinsky district. The truck followed the road Bobrovskoye – Komleva. When the heavy truck crossed the bridge over the Nica River, the construction failed.
The State traffic inspectorate clarified that the maximum permitted weight when passing the bridge was 12 tons. It is assumed that the weight of the truck was higher than the permitted one. The car was carrying rubble to the village of Nitsinskoe.
