Robot Services At Shamshabad Airport.. Better Services For Passengers

GMR Innovex Robotics: Officials will use robotic technology to provide better services to passengers at Shamshabad Airport. The robots will provide the necessary services to the passengers from the moment they step into the airport till they sit in the plane. Also, to keep the airport clean, devices and machines that work with robotic knowledge will be made available. For this, a special center named GMR Innovex has been started.

In this, startups are invited to develop the necessary technology to manufacture robots, machines and equipment. The airport authorities have entered into an MoU with IIT-Bombay, Pepperment and Sine to share new innovations in robotic technology.

The dedicated center will identify startups researching robotics and help develop new robotic products for the airport and aviation sector. A robotic lab is provided for startups to manufacture robots. Robots are already being used experimentally to clean floors, stairs and washrooms at the airport. Shamshabad Airport CEO Pradeep Phanikar said that this center has been started to develop state-of-the-art solutions.
