The TV presenter Andres Hurtado has been accused of alleged acts of corruption and influence peddling, according to a complaint made by the businesswoman Ana Siucho The prosecution claims that Hurtado demanded a million-dollar bribe to intervene in the return of 100 kilos of gold confiscated by customs authorities.
The businesswoman reported that her cousin, Javier Miu Lei, manager of a mining company, approached ‘Chibolín’ in a money laundering case. According to the complaint, the host offered to use his influence in exchange for a million dollars, in addition to asking for additional bribes, such as an 80-year-old whiskey, valued at 80 thousand dollars.

The complaint also implicates the judge Elizabeth Peralta associated with the criminal organization ‘Los Cuellos Blancos del Puerto’. According to Siucho, this prosecutor played a crucial role in the return of the shipment.
The relationship between Hurtado and Peralta ended in 2021, following accusations by the presenter against the Siuchos of having broken the codes with the magistrate.
