The controversy arose after Roly Ortiz publicly mentioned that Luigui Carbajal had taken advantage of his position to appropriate songs without due consent. According to Ortiz, this situation has persisted for years and has affected the copyright of his compositions, which led him to make the decision to file a criminal lawsuit against the well-known performer for the improper use of his work.
“I have not received any lawsuit yet, so when it arrives I will analyze it with my lawyer. Just as he says he will sue me, then I will also file a criminal complaint against him for using my songs for several years and without authorization,” Roly Ortiz expressed to Trome, who did not hesitate to make it clear that he was willing to take this conflict to court, in case Carbajal’s lawsuit materializes.
