Ceremonies related to Rosgar Mela project were organized today in 37 centers across the country. Apart from the various departments and ministries of the Central Government, the appointment has been made for government sector jobs in various States and Union Territories cooperating with the scheme.
The appointment order has now been handed over to more than half a lakh candidates who have been selected from different parts of the country. Currently, the appointment is mainly made in the ministries/departments like Ministry of Railways, Department of Posts, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Revenue, Department of Higher Education, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
At the same time, in a statement released by the authorities regarding the Rosgar Mela, it has been described as a humble step to fulfill the commitment of Prime Minister Modi, who gives priority to job creation in the country. Further, the statement pointed out that Rosgar fairs act as a strong impetus for the efforts to create effective opportunities and create more employment opportunities for the empowerment of the youth and the development of the country.
At the same time, the newly appointed candidates are also provided with an opportunity to undergo training through an online self-training module called Karmayogi Initiation made available on the IGOT Karmayogi portal. Karmayogi has initially set up more than 750 e-learning courses in a style that can be learned from anywhere and from any device.
Rosgar fair
The Rosgar Mela project was launched in October 2022 with an aim to provide employment to 10 lakh people in various departments under the central government within one and a half years. The project was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As of March 1, 2021, there are 9.79 lakh vacancies in Group A, B and C categories in various services of the Central Government. At the same time, Union Minister BL Verma stated that the appointment orders have been handed over to 5.5 lakh people so far as part of Rosgar Mela.
