Swimming is allowed in reservoirs in 47 recreation areas in the Moscow region. All of them meet the sanitary and epidemiological requirements, the press service of the Rospotrebnadzor administration in the Moscow region reported.
The list of water bodies permitted for swimming is posted on the agency’s website, the Moscow city news agency reports.
The list includes four lakes in Nature, four reservoirs in Yegoryevsk, six places for swimming in Kolomna, six in Orekhovo-Zuevo, three reservoirs in Elektrostal and others.
On July 15, the Moscow Region Tourism Committee recalled the safety rules for children on water bodies. The most important thing is to never lose sight of children while swimming and relaxing on the beach, according to the TV channel “360”.
Earlier, on July 8, Rospotrebnadzor reported that bathing in city fountains can lead to health problems, since the water in them is not disinfected and pathogens live in it.
