Rospotrebnadzor launched a sanitary and epidemiological investigation after the poisoning of children with chlorine vapor in the Taganrog water park. This was reported in the department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Rostov region on Sunday, September 26.
In two out of three air samples, the excess of chlorine concentrations has already been established by 1.6 times. Water samples for sanitary-chemical and microbiological indicators have been taken and are being worked on. Materials are being prepared to suspend the activities of the water park.
“In connection with the receipt of information by the Rospotrebnadzor Administration for the Rostov Region about an incident in Taganrog, where six children after visiting the Nautilus water park complained of vomiting, dizziness, lacrimation, nausea, Rospotrebnadzor specialists immediately launched a sanitary and epidemiological investigation,” says on the management site.
On September 26, the Investigative Committee of the Rostov Region reported that six minors were hospitalized with chlorine vapor poisoning after visiting the water park. They were taken to the city hospital.
On July 12, three children aged 6 to 11, as well as one woman, were poisoned with bleach in the Riviera water park in Kazan. They were hospitalized, with one child in the intensive care unit in serious condition.
