Rostekhnadzor and PJSC Rosseti agreed to cooperate in the field of improving the regulatory framework. Department head Alexander Trembitsky and company CEO Andrey Ryumin signed a corresponding agreement on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
As explained in the press service of Rosseti, the document establishes the principles and procedure for interaction between the parties in the preparation and consideration of proposals for changes in legislation.
According to Ryumin, the agreement “assumes deepening cooperation in updating the regulatory framework for the safe operation and development of the electric grid economy.” “This will serve as the basis for further improvement of the infrastructure management system and solving production problems in the interests of consumers,” he stressed.
Rostekhnadzor and Rosseti also agreed on scientific and technical support for issues that are of interest to both parties, as well as on the development of exchange based on information systems, scientific and practical seminars, conferences and other events.
The head of Rostekhnadzor, in turn, noted that “close cooperation has already been established between the company and the department, and fruitful work will continue.”
To implement the agreement, joint working and expert groups will be created.
