There is nothing to fear about Islam. At the same time, Muslims should give up their rhetoric of supremacy. Whoever resides in India, they must abide by the supremacy of India,” he said.
Brinda Karat strongly condemns: Commenting on Mohan Bhagwat’s speech, Brinda Karath, a senior leader of the Communist Party of India and a former member of the Rajya Sabha, said, “The speech of the RSS leader is against the constitution. It is both stimulating and aversive. The court should take suo motu action on his opinion.
Did he (Mohan Bhagwat) define what the people of India should be like? Mohan Bhagwat and other Hindu leaders should read the Constitution especially Article 14 and 15. It states that every citizen is equal irrespective of religion.
Will Mohan Bhagwat decide how the citizens of the country should behave? Former RSS leader late Madhava Sathasiva Golwalkar had said that if Muslims want to be in India, they must be bound. The current RSS leader has also said that it should be implemented.
