The Russian Security Council confirmed that only America and Britain are capable of attacking Nordstream, in reference to the bombing of pipelines in the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines last September, off the Danish island of Bornholm.
And the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, explained that the attack on the Nord Stream lines requires special forces that are available primarily in Washington and London.
He also said in an interview with the “Argomenti i Facti” newspaper that his country insists on conducting an objective investigation into the bombing incident, noting that unilateral explanations do not clarify anything.
He added that Russia, until this moment, does not know for sure who is behind the bombing, according to what was reported by the Russian “TASS” agency.
Earlier this month, US State Department spokesman Ned Price described reports that his country’s government was involved in any way in the Nord Stream pipeline bombings as absurd, but Washington does not reject any accounts regarding finding those involved in this attack.

It is noteworthy that Sweden and Denmark, in which the explosions took place in their exclusive economic zones, had previously concluded, following their investigations, that the pipelines had been deliberately blown up, but they did not determine who was responsible, after four large leaks were detected last September, in the Nord Stream 1 and 2 lines off the Danish island of Bornholm. , two in Swedish economic waters, and two more in Danish waters.
