From June 10 to June 18, on the occasion of the Day of Russia, VK Portals returned to 10 cities — multimedia installations that connected residents of different regions and united more than 18 million people.
Screens have become a point of attraction not only for citizens, creative and sports teams, famous bloggers and artists, including Philip Kirkorov, Valya Karnaval, JONY and other stars.
VK portals have inspired many organizations, artists and bloggers to arrange activities for passers-by. Through the installations there were games, joint trainings, to which any passer-by could join, dance master classes.
Thus, a poetic marathon dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Rasul Gamzatov and light and music shows of a multimedia fountain took place in Derbent, and performances by local musicians were held in Irkutsk, Samara and Yakutsk. DJs from St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara and Khabarovsk arranged sets of their favorite hits for the citizens.
Residents of the cities where the installations were installed were also in for surprises from popular artists and bloggers. Through the VK Portal at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Philip Kirkorov greeted the children’s choir in Moscow, which performed the song “My Only One”, Valya Karnaval congratulated the youth on the upcoming graduation, and JONY gave tickets to his concert to a fan.
In addition, MIA BOYKA and Jan Dylan held interactive activities, Karina Kross talked with Khabarovsk residents.
The third season of the Akape Battle project was held near the Moscow VK Portal. On the air, Vanya Chebanov, Vogel, Akmal’, Stanislav Yarushin and others performed their songs for residents of other cities without musical accompaniment.
VK Portals were installed in iconic places and worked around the clock. The regions on the screens regularly changed each other, the residents were able to communicate with all the cities participating in the project in turn.
To start a dialogue using the VK Portal, just go to the screen and greet the interlocutor. Through it, you can also dance with people from other cities, send them a sticker or try on masks together.
