The Spanish coach of Paris Saint-Germain, Luis Enrique, confirmed today that his team is “capable of winning everything,” on the eve of its match against Lyon in the thirtieth round of the French Football League. Enrique said in a press conference, “We are in the final meters of the competition, and we are in the process of achieving our goals, so we are working with a lot of seriousness and enthusiasm.”
He added, “In order to be a candidate for all titles, you need a very large team that includes 23 players, and therefore they all must be ready when we need them.”
Saint-Germain leads Brest by 10 points and can win the title next Wednesday when it faces Lorient in the French League if the results are in its favour.
When asked if he was aiming to win the treble, given that he was competing in the French Cup final against Lyon and the Champions League semi-final against Germany’s Borussia Dortmund, Enrique said, “On the day I was introduced, we spoke very clearly about our being in the competition for all titles.”
