The “sakani” program revealed the availability of 8,280 free plots of land for Saudi families benefiting from the program from the beginning of the year until the end of August 2023, through a “sakani” website and application in various regions of the Kingdom, within the framework of joint efforts to improve affordability of housing costs in order to achieve the goals of the housing program – One of Saudi Vision 2030 programs – by providing opportunities for families to own adequate housing, by providing multiple housing products and various financing solutions to beneficiaries.
The program indicated that 1,527 plots of land were made available in the Riyadh region, 3,982 plots of land in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, 1,297 plots of land in the Eastern Province, 651 plots of land in the Qassim region, in addition to 259 in the northern border region.
In continuation of the “sakani” efforts to provide housing options for Saudi families, the program provided 182 plots of land in the Al-Jawf region, 122 plots in Najran, and 242 plots of land in the Hail region, in addition to 118 other plots of land in the regions of Medina and Al-Baha, according to Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper.
