The “sakani” program in Saudi Arabia announced today, offering 2,670 free plots of land to beneficiaries within the housing schemes that it previously offered through the electronic portal, calling on beneficiaries who wish to have the option of obtaining free land to visit the website and choose the appropriate plot and land for reservation, as part of its endeavor to develop solutions An electronic platform that makes it easier for citizens to find the appropriate housing.
The program revealed that the lands that were offered are located within 13 housing schemes, distributed over 4 regions, namely: (Riyadh, Sharqiya, Makkah and Hail). The Riyadh region included 6 schemes, including 3 in Dawadmi governorate providing a total of 626 lands, and one scheme. In Al-Quway’iya, it includes 281 plots, and a plot in Afif provides 112 plots, in addition to a plot in Thadiq that provides 53 plots.
As for the eastern region, it included 5 plots, including 3 in Al-Olaya village with a total of 733 lands, and two schemes in Hafr Al-Batin providing a total of 550 lands. The Hail region also embraced one scheme located in the Baqaa governorate that provides 49 lands, while the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region – Taif governorate specifically – With one scheme, it provides 266 plots.
“Sakani” explained that the infrastructure works are underway in the plans, adding that the beneficiaries can visit the electronic portal of the “sakani” website, then choose “residential solutions” and then click on the option of free residential lands, and choose the appropriate scheme for them.
He pointed out that he will continue to provide all facilities to citizens of different segments of society to enable them to obtain adequate housing that meets their desires, raising the percentage of home ownership and reaching 70% by 2030 in accordance with the objectives of the Housing Program, one of the programs to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
It is noteworthy that the “sakani” program provides beneficiaries with several housing and financing options, including ready-made housing units within the Ministry’s projects, as well as units under construction in partnership with qualified real estate developers, in addition to the option of purchasing ready-made housing units from the market, self-construction for those who own land, or financing a loan. Existing real estate, by means of subsidized real estate loans in partnership with banks and financial institutions, in addition to the option of free lands delivered to beneficiaries in various regions of the Kingdom.
