Liverpool fifth continued its pressure on Newcastle III and Manchester United fourth by defeating the injured Leicester City 3-0 on Monday at the end of the thirty-sixth stage of the English Premier League championship, in a match in which the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah starred through three assists.
The Egyptian Mohamed Salah lifted a perfect ball at the far post, which was easily followed by the unmarked Curtis Jones into the net in the 33rd minute, and after 3 minutes, the same player benefited from a pass by Mohamed Salah to score the second goal.
In the second half, Salah kicked a direct free kick towards Trent Alexander-Arnold, who fired it into the roof of the Leicester City net, finally deciding the result in favor of his team 19 minutes before the end of normal time.
Liverpool raised its score to 65 points, one point behind Newcastle and United, but the latter two played a lesser match, and on the other hand, Leicester’s balance froze at 30 points in the penultimate position, to remain in actual danger of falling.
