This amount is inclusive of basic salary and benefits. 24 crore rupees was rejected by him from all categories in one year alone.
The remuneration of relatives Nikhil and Hital Meswani remained unchanged at Rs 24 crore, but this time it included a commission of Rs 17.28 crore. Ambani’s wife Nita, a non-executive director on the company’s board, earned Rs 5 lakh as sitting fee and another Rs 2 crore in commission that year. Last year, Nita received a sitting fee of 8 lakh rupees and a commission of 1.65 crore rupees.
The remuneration of executive directors PMS Prasad and Pawan Kumar Kapil has been marginally reduced. Prasad received Rs 11.89 crore in 2021-22, which has come down to Rs 11.99 crore in 2020-21. Kapil received Rs 4.22 crores which was Rs 4.24 crores last year.
