Who is Salvador del Solar?
Salvador del Solar is a multifaceted figure in Peru, recognized for his multiple talents and contributions in both the artistic and political spheres. Born on May 1, 1970, Del Solar has cultivated a distinguished career as an actor, film director and politician.
In film and television, Salvador del Solar has left an indelible mark thanks to his participation in several notable productions. He won the hearts of the public and critics for his work in films such as ‘Pantaleón y las visitadoras’ (1999), based on the novel by award-winning Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa, where he played the main character, Pantaleón Pantoja. His career as a director has also been significant and he stood out with his film ‘Magallanes’ (2015), which received international recognition and awards.
In the political field, Salvador del Solar assumed roles of great responsibility and visibility.
