On Monday, pictures of Samantha’s participation in the trailer launch event of ‘Sakunthalam’ went viral on social media. As for the movie ‘Shakuntam’, it is based on the story of Mahabharata and is adapted from the work of Kalidasa. In this, Samantha played the lead role as Apsara Menaka, Shakuntala, the daughter of Rishi Vishwamitra. This is the Telugu debut movie for Malayalam actor Dev Mohan, who played the role of Dushyanthu in this film. Iconic star Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha is playing the role of Bharata Raju in this film. Allu’s star kid will be seen on the silver screen for the first time.. The film is slated to release in February.
