Samantha: 'Sakunthalam' Release Date Fixed.. Samantha Movie In 3D Worldwide..

Samantha, who had mostly done bubbly and glamorous heroine roles before her marriage to Naga Chaitanya, changed course after that. After her divorce with Chaitanya, she is giving preference to completely lady oriented films. In this sequence, Sam acted in the movie ‘Shaakuntalam’ with the director Gunasekhar, who made movies with star heroes in Telugu. Although this project was originally announced in October 2020, it has been postponed due to pandemic and other reasons. Even if the shooting is ever complete, it seems that there has been a delay for the 3D version. But after the success of Samantha’s latest movie ‘Yashoda’, the makers are now preparing to release ‘Sakunthalam’. In this order, the release date of the film was announced in the new year.

Even in 3D version!!’ Saying that, Samantha and Dev Mohan posted the release poster with a romantic pic. While Samantha plays the title role as Shakuntala, Dev Mohan will be seen in the role of Dusyanthu.

Meanwhile, this film will compete with Kollywood star hero Dhanush ‘Sir’, Vishwak Sen’s ‘Dhamki’ and young hero Kiran Abbavaram’s ‘Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha’ at the box office. In Shakunthalam, Dev Mohan, Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Gauthami, Aditi Balan, Ananya Nagella and others played the lead roles. The music is composed by Melody Brahma Manisharma.. The makers are releasing this mythological drama in 2D as well as 3D version.

Based on Kalidasa’s ‘Abhijnana Sakunthalam’, this film seems to have been turned into a visual poem by director Guna Shekhar. In fact, Guna Shekhar’s style is different in presenting the romantic angle in movies. With this, there are huge expectations on the film ‘Sakunthalam’ which is coming as an epic love story. While this movie is being released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada languages as well as Hindi. Will Guna Shekhar fans expectations reach? Or if you don’t know, you have to wait till the release.
