The singer and chocolatier businessman Samir giha spoke in an interview with Milagros Leiva for her YouTube show Vida y Milagros, published on Monday, July 19, about her divorce from actress Karina Calmet in 2004.
The journalist asked him about what was the strongest thing he had lost to the point of thinking that he could not recover.
“My family”, responded immediately and without hesitation the interpreter of “If we had talked”. However, he noted: “Today, thank God I am married and happy.”
“But, at that moment it was the relationship that I lived. I lost what in my head was the ideal thing: you find the partner, you get married and you have your family. (…) I’m being honest, it was the hardest thing I ever experienced, ”he said.
“From that I felt that there is nothing that I could lose that hurts me, how that hurt,” he said.
Milagros Leiva pointed out that the separation from Karina Calmet, in addition to being painful, was scandalous.
“Obviously, because it was public,” he confirmed Samir giha. “My idea was: family for life. (…) I had a bad time, like many who have the same idea of marrying forever “, he claimed.
On the infidelity that led to her divorce, she said it was difficult to explain how much it really hurt. He also claimed that he forgave Karina Calmet after what happened. “We talk often,” he said.
Finally, about his current relationship with his wife Tamara, the businessman indicated that it did not take long for him to trust again because he always saw himself as a married man. “I always wanted to get married again,” he reiterated.
