New Delhi | Samsung on Thursday announced the launch of its Galaxy S23 series in India at a starting price of Rs 74,999. The Galaxy S23 series comes in three variants – S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra in Phantom Black, Cream, Green and Lavender colors and is available for pre-booking from February 2 across online and offline retail stores across the country.
Additionally, the Galaxy S23 Ultra features an all-new 200MP sensor with Adaptive Pixels, which can capture images with stunning detail, the company said.
The front camera of the Galaxy S23 series is equipped with Nightography as well as Dual Pixel Autofocus technology, which allows shooting with the front camera even in low light conditions.
The Dual Pixel Autofocus technology also ensures 60 percent faster focus than the front camera.
Additionally, with Super Quad Pixel AF, the rear camera can perform up to 50 percent faster, the company said.
Videos on the Galaxy S23 series are further enhanced with Super HDR, enhanced noise control algorithms and 2X wider OIS for smoother and sharper images at night.
For mainstream mobile gaming, the Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with real-time ray tracing.
With this, users will be able to see more lifelike renderings of scenes with technology that simulates and tracks every ray of light, Samsung said.(IANS)
