Dhruv Jural is touted to be one of the next star wicketkeepers in Indian cricket. Jural’s brilliant performances in the 2023 season of the Indian Premier League have made Jural stand out in Indian cricket. The youngster has been able to shine for Rajasthan in the role of a finisher. Jural scored 152 runs at a strike rate of 172.73 in the IPL last season. This actor is the main hope of Sanju and his team in the upcoming season as well.
Played in the U-19 World Cup
Dhruv Jural was also the wicketkeeper of the Indian team that reached the finals of the 2020 Under-19 World Cup. Jural, who batted in only three innings in the six matches played in the World Cup, scored 89 runs at a batting average of 44.50. Jural will make his first-class cricket debut for Uttar Pradesh in February 2022. Jural, who has already played 15 matches in Red Ball Cricket, scored 790 runs at a batting average of 46.47.
Jural was also in the India A team that toured South Africa last month. After getting out for zero in the first match against South Africa A team, the young player shone in the second match scoring 69 runs. Jural also played in the India A team in the ACC Asian Emerging Cup held in Sri Lanka last year. He was also able to play a key role in the team’s entry into the finals.
First two tests
The first Test of the Test series between India and England will begin on the 25th of this month at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The second match will start on February 2 in Visakhapatnam.
