As many as 7.55 lakh transactions were transacted in Sankranthi this year at toll plazas in the state. Last year, 6.26 lakh transactions were transacted at Sankranthi toll gates. This year, that number has increased significantly. This year’s Sankranthi festival has grossed Rs 11.72 crore for three days. Last year’s revenue was Rs 9.49 crore. On the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway alone, 3.78 lakh transactions were transacted.
