The Telangana government has opened up to the concerns about the transfers of teacher couples for some time now. The government has given green signal to the transfers of teachers’ spouse category. For a few days, the teachers have been agitating to transfer both the couple to the same place. Meanwhile, in response to their demand, it has decided to transfer couples in 12 districts which were stopped earlier. The government has issued orders to transfer 427 teachers in 12 districts except Suryapet. With this, the teacher couple will be transferred to the same place. While the process of teacher transfers and promotions will start from 27th of this month… from 28th to 30th, an opportunity to apply online has been provided for three days. This process will continue for a total of 37 days. After that there will be another 15 days for appeals.
