A holiday has been announced for public and private sectors today. Locals, foreigners and families will flock to Corniches across the country tonight to celebrate the National Day. Fireworks will be staged at night under the leadership of the provincial administrations. There will also be a demonstration of strength by various security forces in different parts of the country.
An air show by the Saudi Hawks, an aerobatic team of the Royal Saudi Air Force, is also one of the eagerly awaited events. Accompanied by the Border Guard, National Guard and Royal Guard, horse-drawn artillery and other vehicles will take part in the military march through Riyadh at 4pm. The parade will move from Prince Mohammed Bin Saad Bin Abdul Aziz Road to Umm Ajlan Park in Khairawan area.
Saudi Arabia is celebrating its 93rd National Day with the slogan ‘We dream, we achieve’. The theme is to inspire citizens to work towards the realization of dreams and celebrate achievements. Apart from air show and fireworks display, art-sports-cultural events, shopping festival etc. are also held in various cities. Non-residents will also be a part of the celebrations.

As part of the National Day, the Ministry of Interior is holding an exhibition near Riyadh Airport. This is an opportunity to get a closer look at the security arrangements of Saudi Arabia.
The two-day exhibition named Issul Vatvan will end tomorrow. Departments such as Jawasat, Police, Traffic, Border Security, Industrial Security, Jail, Arms and Explosives Department, Road Safety Department, Environmental Safety, Civil Defence, Civil Affairs, Crime Research Centre, Narcotics Department, King Fahad Security College are participating in the exhibition.
