The Public Authority for Food Security has disbursed the dues of the twelfth batch to local wheat farmers, including the payment of the beneficiaries of the contractual relationship between (farmers and agricultural companies), who supplied the quantities allocated to them for this season 1444/1445 AH (2023 AD), and closed their accounts through the electronic platform “My crops” on the website official body.
The net amount that was deposited in farmers’ bank accounts for this batch amounted to 132.4 million riyals, for the amount of 72.57 thousand tons, for 168 farmers, including 10 farmers who have a contractual relationship with companies, bringing the total amount that was disbursed to farmers for this season an amount of 1.29 billion riyals, and that For the amount of 732.7 thousand tons, for 2228 farmers.
The authority had started receiving local wheat from farmers for the current season, starting from Shaaban 27 1444 AH, and the net amount received from farmers to date amounted to 970.77 thousand tons, for 3023 farmers.
