The Ministry of Hajj has stated that registration for this year’s Hajj will be from within the country only through the official app ‘Ithamarna’ and the official website. Authorities have asked users to report any unauthorized companies, offices or individuals promoting Hajj campaigns. He warned that violators could face legal action.

The ministry added that Kovid has been monitoring the registration process to ensure that precautionary measures are implemented. Hajj registration for domestic pilgrims will continue till Saturday, June 11. Last month, Saudi Arabia announced that it had allowed one million pilgrims to perform the Hajj this year. Hajj is permitted for pilgrims from foreign countries after two years of Kovid restrictions.
