The Board of Directors of the Saudi Electricity Company approved the appointment of Khaled Al-Qunun as CEO of the company, after he had held the position of CEO-designate since June 2021, succeeding Fahd Al-Sudairy.
Before that, Al-Qunun held the position of Executive Vice President of the Saudi Electricity Company for distribution activity and customer services since 2018.
It is noteworthy that Al-Qunun holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Dublin in Ireland in 1995 and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 1987. He also has engineering and administrative experience that extends for more than 35 years.
