He informed that 6.24 lakh people can perform Namaz in the Northern Development Area if the number of people praying in the courtyards and related areas in this area is added. The rush is managed according to a plan to direct the tens of thousands who flock to the new development area through the gates after reaching the courtyards of the Haram during the month of Ramadan.

4800 toilets including 72 toilets for the differently abled, 362 escalators including 72 electric elevators to access different floors and courtyards of the Haram, 675 samsam drinking places and 22,000 carpets in various musallas are being used in the Haram. Advanced sound system and air conditioning system are also working under various departments in the places where more than 20 lakh people need to pray.
