A separate application must be submitted to add the wife and children to the visa of the head of the family. The name information given in the application must match the information in the passport. The application should be submitted along with the entry visa or any other legal documents issued by the Saudi Embassy.

The applicant should have the passports of his wife and children whom he wants to add to the Iqama. A color photograph of the person whose name is to be added and the original iqama of the applicant are also required. If the wife married in Saudi Arabia is to be added to the iqama, the sponsorship of the wife should be transferred to that of the husband. For this you have to bring a copy of the marriage certificate and the fee fixed by the government. Jawasat informed that only then the wife’s name can be added with the husband’s iqama.

If you want to add a son born in Saudi Arabia to Iqama, you must have the original birth certificate and its copy. Medical certificate from recognized hospitals or clinics in the country is also required to add the name of the family members along with the iqama, said Jawasat.
