Javazat spokesperson Major Nasir AlUtaibi informed that the digital card should be taken through Abshir using the entry number received at the time of entry. Abshir is the online service platform of Ministry of Home Affairs. If digital ID is available it can be stored in mobile phones.
The move is part of Jawasat’s policy of leveraging advanced systems and technologies. It also aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 goals. Jawasat has also electronicized eight new services a few days ago. Four services are included in Abshir and four services in Mukeem R platform.
Apart from the reporting system for passport theft and loss of passport, digital ID for those coming on visitor visa and Mukeem print for those on Iqama will also be available through Abshir from now on. Newly added services in Mukhim are the service to correct the change occurred while translating the name in the Iqama, the system to report the loss of the Iqama, the service to know the visa information and the service to receive the sponsor’s visa alert.
