SBI V CARE is a special fixed deposit scheme introduced by SBI, the country’s largest public sector bank, for senior citizens. Under the scheme, investments of five years to 10 years will get higher interest rate. Only senior citizens will get additional interest under the scheme. This is a deposit scheme for saving income of people above 60 years of age. The maximum interest rate is 7.5 percent. SBI extends the period for investment under the scheme every time. The deadline is March 31, 2024.

ICICI Bank Golden Years Fd
The bank offers an additional interest of up to 0.10 percent for deposits above five years. The interest rate offered under the scheme is 7.50 percent. Last date to deposit is 30th April 2024. For Senior Citizens ICICI Bank offers interest rates ranging from 3.5 percent to 7.65 percent for senior citizens. The highest interest rate is 7.65 percent for 15 months to two years.
HDFC Bank Senior Citizen Care Fd
The bank offers an additional interest rate of 0.25 percent for periods ranging from five years to one day to 10 years. HDFC Bank offers interest rates ranging from 3.5 percent to 7.75 percent to senior citizens.
