We are setting up IFP panels in every classroom from class 6 onwards. This makes teaching and learning easier. We are making TV screens available for classes below 6th. Later we are giving tabs from 8th class. This has enabled children to learn the curriculum with audio, video and graphics elements close to home. Similarly, consideration should be given to providing digital facility to intermediate students as well. CM Jagan ordered that the officials should think about what form it should take and give proposals.
“Strong arrangements should be made to provide the best education to the children permanently. When students enter 6th standard, they should take education as a serious matter and pay more attention. Formation of IAFP, subject wise teachers should be serious about their teaching. If there is no serious teaching, there will be no result. The future of the students will be damaged if it is done as a gift. IFP panels should be provided by next academic year. IFPs should be established in those schools as Nadu-Nedu is completed. The Chief Minister ordered that steps should be taken to provide the tabs to the 8th class students at the beginning of the next academic year.
‘The topics in the textbooks, the byjus content in the tables, the IFP content… all these should be in complete synergy. Students should be encouraged to master English so that they can withstand the global competition. Gradually they should become better proficient in speaking and writing English. The participation of organizations like TOEFL and Cambridge should also be taken. With their help, programs should be designed to conduct examinations and issue certificates to children from class 3 onwards. CM Jagan ordered the higher officials to continue training programs on English for teachers too.
Jagan made it clear that feedback should be provided to the parents of the children on the use of tabs and the way they are learning the curriculum. The officials explained to the Chief Minister that starting from March, all the educational materials will reach the schools by the end of April. Children will be provided educational kit by the time the schools open. The CM inquired about the first phase of the audit today. It has been clarified that IFP and TV screens should be set up.
