He stressed that arrival in Emirati sports to the highest ranks is the primary goal of the federation, which can only be achieved by discovering, supporting and developing talents according to the highest global sports standards.
For his part, Dr. Saeed Al -Hassani, President of the Arab Federation for University Sports, said that the pre -university academic levels are a major starting point for the professional athletes industry in various games, pointing out that school games championships contribute pivotal to enhancing the chances of Emirati athletes in sports competitions at the continental and global levels.
He added that the Arab University Sports Federation works continuously with the federations and clubs concerned in the Emirates and all member states, whether specialized in university or school sports, because the primary goal is to discover promising talents in all sports, care and highlight them in cooperation with specialized clubs and academies.
He explained that the UAE was able to reap the fruits of the continuous work in this aspect during the past years, as it won the ninth place in the school games that were held in Bahrain last year, and it was issued by an Arab in the same session, which confirms that the work mechanism is facilitated according to the right direction.
