Nellore Rural YSR Congress Party rebel MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy has been given jhalak by the Jagan government. The government has revealed that security is being reduced for MLA Kotam Reddy. To this extent, the Jagan government issued an order on Saturday. The government has announced that the existing 2+2 gunmen will be reduced to 1+1.
It is known that Kotam Reddy Sridhar Reddy made serious allegations against Jagan’s Sarkar that he had insulted him who was loyal to the YS family. Unable to bear this insult, he revealed that he is leaving the party. Nellore Mayor Sravanti has already announced that he is ready to leave YCP in support of MLA Kotam Reddy. Many YCP corporators are also ready to walk along Kotam Reddy. In this order, reducing the security of MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy has become politically important. Meanwhile, in the 2014 and 2019 assembly elections, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy contested as a candidate for Nellore Rural YCP MLA and won. However, Sridhar Reddy felt that he would get a place in Jagan’s cabinet. But for the first time, Nellore City MLA Anil Kumar Yadav got a chance in the context of social equality. Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy thought that he would get a chance in the reshuffle of the cabinet after that, but Govardhan Reddy was not appointed. In the wake of these developments, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy summoned Kotam Reddy Sridhar Reddy last month and spoke. After that he seemed to be stagnant for a few days.
In this sequence, the audio tape of Kotam Reddy saying that he is going to contest from TDP in the next election has gone viral on social media. The next day, Kotamreddy made a pressmeet and alleged that his phone was being tapped. However, the YCP leaders are counter-attacking that Kotam Reddy, who is deciding to join the TDP, is making allegations of phone tapping. In this order, the state government has taken a key decision to reduce the security of Kotam Reddy.
