Kolkata: Former Indian captain and former BCCI president Ganguly has shared his advice on what Indian cricket team selectors and coach Rahul Dravid should do in the run up to the upcoming ODI World Cup.
Ganguly has done great work both as the captain of the Indian team and as the head of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Giving opportunity to young players as captain and working towards development of women’s cricket while chairman of the board.
In this context, the selection committee and head coach Rahul Dravid has told what to do in the upcoming ODI World Cup series.
Accordingly, “Indian team is a very strong team. There are many professional cricket players in our country. Most of them don’t get a chance in the national team. The reason is that the competition is very high.
I want the current team to play till the World Cup. I wish selectors and coach Rahul Dravid would do this. They need to keep this team together. Players should not worry about the World Cup series. All you have to do is play a good game,” Ganguly said.
