The Falcons, Al-Mahra Stars, Al-Siouf, Bani Yas, Rabdan, Al-Sadara, Al-Wasl, and Al-Maliki teams qualified for the quarter-finals of the first Ramadan Bani Yas Junior Championship 2023, while the semi-finals will be held tomorrow, Sunday.
The tournament’s preliminary round matches witnessed strong competition among 10 teams, which were divided into two groups, with five teams in each group.
The draw for the quarter-finals resulted in strong confrontations, and the first match brought together the Falcons and Al-Mahra Stars teams, while the second confrontation brought together the Al-Sayouf and Bani Yas teams, and the third between Rabdan and Al-Sadara, and concluded with Al Wasl and Al-Maliky.
The tournament director, Salem Hassan Al-Mahri, confirmed in press statements that the aim of organizing it is to provide the country’s clubs with distinguished talents, especially that Bani Yas City is characterized by promising football talents that need to hone skills and abilities, praising the positive cooperation and sincere efforts to support the success of the tournament, and the good levels of the players.
