It said it had brought the facility with the safety of customers in mind. The company said that end-to-end services will be available to Star Health customers through WhatsApp. Star Health Company offers insurance coverage such as retail health, group health, personal accident and overseas travel. The company has a market share of 15.8% in the Indian travel insurance market.

To avail this new facility, Star Health customers need to send a ‘Hi’ message from their WhatsApp number to +91 95976 52225. Customers can also purchase new policies with the help of these services. Customers can also file non-cash claims. Customers can also download the policy document through WhatsApp.
Star Health serves its customers not only through WhatsApp but also through Twinkle, customer care number, agent, official website, branch offices and Star Power app. With these facilities customers can stay at home and buy an insurance policy.
