Al-Ameen Service announced its intention to participate with a team for the first time in the 22nd edition of the Dubai Marathon, to be held on February 12, as part of the community initiatives of Al-Ameen Service aimed at encouraging community members to participate in sporting events.
The marathon includes three tracks (42 km, 10 km and 4 km), and it starts in front of the Dubai Police Academy on Umm Suqeim Street, and it is expected that approximately 30,000 runners will participate in the marathon.
Omar Al-Falasi, General Supervisor of Al-Ameen Service, said in a press statement that the participation of “Al-Ameen Service” comes with the aim of motivating various segments of society to adopt a healthy and sporty lifestyle.
In turn, the General Coordinator of the Dubai Marathon, Ahmed Al Kamali, expressed that the participation of the “Service of the Secretary” represents a driving force for the event and encouragement for activities and events in Dubai and the UAE. Al-Kamali added that the contribution of the “Service of the Secretary” as well as some financial prizes for the different categories of the marathon confirms the institutional partnership of the service with the various institutions and departments in the Emirate of Dubai.
